MARQUEE signing Richie Myler is set to make his York Knights debut against Sheffield Eagles in the Fourth Round of the Betfred Challenge Cup on Sunday (3pm).

The 33-year-old, who made the move to the Knights after his shock exit from Betfred Super League heavyweights Leeds Rhinos during the off-season, has not yet featured for Andrew Henderson’s side after a hamstring niggle.

He is one of three changes to the Knights’ preliminary squad, with Australian centre Jesse Dee and full-back Will Dagger also back in the fold.

Dagger has not played since marking his debut with a hat-trick of tries and eight goals in their 114-10 thrashing of Newcastle Thunder in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup last month.

Taylor Pemberton, Francis Coggle and Brad Ward drop out in their places.

The match is also set to mark the returns of former fan favourite Matty Marsh and centre James Glover, who both departed the Knights for Mark Aston's Eagles during the off-season.

Ex-Knights Ben Jones-Bishop and Anthony Thackeray are also in line to feature.

York Knights preliminary squad: Bailey, Brown, Dagger, Daley, Dee, Donaghy, Field, Fitzsimmons, Harris, Harrison, Jubb, Keinhorst, Myler, Price, Reynolds, Santi, Ta’ai, Teanby, Thompson, Towse, Williams.

Sheffield Eagles preliminary squad: Marsh, Jones-Bishop, Welham, Glover, Dawson-Jones, Aston, Thackeray, Battye, Halafihi, Dickinson, Farrell, Gwaze, Hansen, Clark, Murphy, Peachey, Wood, Liu, Roberts, Foster, Millar.
